New Amalfi Coast hiking and culinary tour
Ciclismo Classico is excited to announce a new hiking and culinary tour of the Amalfi Coast with Celebrity Chef Dante de Magistris.
Along one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world, guests will hike peaceful trails and coastal roads, past silvery olive trees, secluded fishing inlets, sandy beach resorts, and aromatic citrus groves. Chef Dante will share his family’s history in the region, curate tasty picnic lunches, share cooking tips/lessons, and welcome travellers into his family’s home. The seven day tour starts at $4,295 and is slated for 17-23 September 2016.
Guests will take a ferry to the Isle of Capri where they’ll explore the ancient Roman ruins of Villa Jovis, enjoy a delicious picnic, and encounter the famous Faraglioni rocks jutting out of the sea. They’ll stop at a local limoncello factory for a tasting of the regional special and enjoy the melodic sounds of the native Neapolitan music.
This unique hiking vacation will engage all of the senses and introduce travellers to the savoury southern Italian cuisine, famous for its natural ingredients and traditional dishes like spaghetti allo scoglio, and delizie al limone.
